Edwin received his bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Georgia in 1974 and received his master of business administration degree from the University of Georgia in 1975. Mr. Hill joined the Firm in 1980 and became a partner in 1983.
Edwin’s primary responsibilities in the Firm include individual and corporate income tax, estate and gift tax planning, and personal financial planning. He has also served as managing partner since 2009.
Edwin is actively involved with numerous community service organizations. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Statesboro, where he has served as president and chairman of the board and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He has served as president and chairman of the board of the United Way, Bulloch County, and is a treasurer of First United Methodist Church and former chairman of the board of the Statesboro-Bulloch County Board of Recreation. Edwin is a charter member of Leadership Bulloch, where he served on the Board of Directors. He formerly served as treasurer and executive committee member of the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Southern University Foundation. Edwin has served as president and chairman of the board of the Statesboro High School Boosters. He is a member of the Statesboro High School Athletic Hall of Fame, the University of Georgia G-Club, and the Gridiron Secret Society. He served two terms as a member of the Bulloch County Board of Education. Edwin was recognized in 2013 as the Statesboro-Bulloch County Business Leader of the Year. In 2019, he was the recipient of the University of Georgia Baseball program’s Charley Trippi Distinguised Letterman’s Award.
Edwin is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the tax division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
