Earlier this month, on October 6th, Billy Hickman served as a guest speaker for the E-Zone Forum, entitled "How to Detect Fraud in Your Business." Chosen as a speaker for his expertise in forensic accounting, Billy and team members spoke on fraud prevention and detection techniques, as well as examples of his experience of their experience. Local small business owners and area professionals attended the event, which was the first of a series of small business forums that will be held on the first Thursday of each month. The event, hosted by Georgia Southern University's City Campus, was sponsored by Dabbs, Hickman, Hill & Cannon, LLP and Sea Island Bank.
