November 10th
On Thursday, November 10th, Billy Hickman presented "Forensic Accounting: Looking Beyond the Numbers" to the Sylvania, Georgia Rotary Club. Billy introduced the team and explained the components and conceptual aspects of fraud. Billy shared with the group some of the team's recent cases. Because the majority of attendants were professionals and small business owners, the comments focused primarily on occupational fraud. At the conclusion of their comments, a number of questions were posed which led to a discussion of policies that could be implemented to prevent and detect fraud in small business.
