On Wednesday, October 26th, Dabbs, Hickman, Hill and Cannon's forensic accounting team made a presentation to the employees of Sea Island Bank entitled, "Forensic Accounting: Looking Beyond the Numbers." The team explained the elements of fraud and the numerous roles of forensic accountants. Hickman led the presentation and also provided prevention and detection techniques relevant to those who work in the banking industry. The presentation concluded with Danny Key sharing cases in which they had conducted forensic investigations representing financial institution clients of the firm.
